The Capital Planning office is responsible for:
- Leadership and directional support to the development of the university’s annual capital budget as well as the five- and ten-year capital plans. The University Budget Office has the responsibility for the development of the detailed annual capital budget and multi-year capital budget.
- Coordination of the Provost’s Capital Planning Group and the Capital Funding & Priorities Committee (CF&PC), two senior administration committees responsible for the strategic university priorities for capital activity and approval of major capital projects.
- Representation of university leadership perspective and participation in the broad variety of planning, approval, and implementation processes for capital activities on the Ithaca campus.
